MEET OUR CAPTAINS:

Ripple Cove Charters is delighted to introduce you to our captains. Depending on the schedule, either one of these 2 pro fishing guides will take you out for the day.

Matt Musslewhite:

Ripple Cove Charters is proud to welcome back Captain Matt Musslewhite.

Matt was born and raised in Alaska. Local knowledge is a must when fishing the Southeast area. Prior to joining Ripple Cove Charters, Matt fished the local waters commercially. He owned his own salmon troller and also worked in the halibut and lingcod fisheries.

You'll feel extra safe with Matt onboard... he has several EMT certifications and can fix anything.

This year Matt will be armed with our new weapon- an underwater fishing video camera. We'll be able to see right away if the fish are really down there. We can also record your catch from a whole different perspective.

Bill Shadley:

Ripple Cove Charters introduces you to our returning captain, Bill Shadley.

Bill has resided in Gustavus for nearly 20 years. The townspeople here call him the "salmon master". He is an excellent halibut fisherman as well.

Bill is quite an interesting guy. In addition to having his 100 ton USCG license, Bill is an accomplished chef and a fantastic electrician.

You'll enjoy your days on the water with him.
